My wife and I engaged Cozy Home Performance, LLC (“CHP”) initially to perform energy audit testing on our old (circa 1820s) farmhouse in Vermont and later to help with remedial work stemming from the audit. CHP’s principal, Mark Lantz, is a pleasure to deal with. He is both knowledgeable in the science of home performance and helpful explaining the technicalities involved.
Our house needed some work I could easily perform and had some other shortcomings that we decided to contract out. Mark gave advice freely on the former, even loaning me some equipment when I needed it.
We hired CHP to perform the first phase of the contract work. Mark and a colleague were here for the better of a week. They were punctual; their work was thorough and of the highest quality; and they cleaned up thoroughly before they left.
By virtue of completing that part of the remedial work, our house is already much tighter and more energy efficient. We look forward to moving ahead with the additional phases recommended as we are convinced that there are more gains to be realized by addressing Mark’s audit findings.
In summary, we highly recommend CHP and endorse their mission to “to sustain the world one house at a time.”
