Mark Lantz did a very thorough energy audit inspection of my home for ways to conserve energy. The result was a detailed analysis of our house with an explanation of the dynamics of heat loss in the house and recommendations for efficiency remediation.
Even though energy work is generally done on the top part of the house first, we chose to have work done on our basement first because of our particular circumstances. Mark and his crew came in and did a thorough sealing of leaks and an insulation of basement sills. Mark also works with other contractors and does not hesitate to recommend someone when their services are more appropriate and effective for completing the job. In our case, a contractor came in and used the latest, most effective methods for sealing our basement floor against moisture, which comes up from the ground. (Mildew had been a major problem in our basement.) Next, another contractor will come in and spray non-toxic, bio-based, insulation on our cellar walls. Mark only collaborates with contractors that he trusts and is on-sight to monitor work and overall quality assurance.
All work has been done very professionally and I am completely satisfied. I would recommend Mark for anyone needing this type of work.
